Transition 13 is a program that has been designed to help pre-teens at the of 12 on through young adulthood who are having issues with substance abuse. We can help them understand the changes in their pre-teenage years to their teenage years, and on to young adulthood. During this time an adolescent has a lot that they are going through, with their bodies changing, developing different and unfamiliar social interaction, school work load, having higher expectations from adults, and changing family dynamics. Transition 13 will help these children understand what is happening by providing them with guest speakers who they can identify with and who have had similar issue of transitioning from pre-teenage years and on to young adulthood.

Though the process of self-discloser by guess speakers, peer interactions, intervention to provoke positive self-esteem, intervention to provoke positive self-image, and intervention.
